Benefice of Emmer Green and Caversham Park

Emmer Green and Caversham Park parishes consist of two churches in a single benefice.

cpv-school1-300x183Here in Caversham Park, the church is a Local Ecumenical Partnership which meets in Caversham Park Primary School.  We seek to combine the strengths of four church traditions, Church of England, Methodist, Baptist and the United Reformed Church.  The church began in the early seventies, meeting first in people houses as the village was built and then began services at the school.  The was no provision for a church building during the later construction phases of the village.   For more information please explore this website or contact us directly, we will be delighted to hear from you.

Both St. Barnabas and Caversham Park LEP are part of the Oxford Diocese and Churches Together in Caversham and have very different characters as churches but seek to compliment one another in their common service and mission to the benefice.
